Art and Material - Tactile Sculpture Gallery
'Art and Material - Tactile Sculpture Gallery' open from 10th December 2016 - 28th May 2017 is an innovative museum display of ten sculpture casts, five from the Musée Fabre and five from The Louvre. Visitors are immersed in the world of forms and material through tactile sensations for another way of looking at art.

Zila, est le guide qui accompagne la visite des plus jeunes dans la galerie de sculpture à toucher. « - Je m’appelle Zila, je vis loin de la planète Terre. Là d’où je viens, nous n’avons pas le sens de la vue. Crois-moi, on peut voir autrement qu’avec les yeux. »

- Visit notes for self-guided visits for primary schools (the bag of teaching materials for the visit can be borrowed from the museum reception)
- Educational resources to prepare and prolong the visit produced by the Musée Fabre Education Service
- Educational resources to prepare and prolong primary school visits produced by the Léa-Musécole group in Montpellier.
- The CANOPE network offer a bibliography and lending resources including publications, posters, periodicals, children's books, films and games.
- The Emile Zola media library offers a wide selection of works available for loan to accompany the discovery of the exhibition Art and Material on the themes of the five senses , sculpture, the body , material and the dimensions .
