The Musée Fabre Documentation Centre

The Jean Claparède Documentation Centre is situated close to the museum entrance. It is open to the public on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 2pm - 6pm. There are 10 work spaces and a reading corner. 

Visitors are invited to discover the rich document archives devoted to the Fine Arts which hold over 10,000 books, reviews, theses and exhibition catalogues. The documents are only available for consultation in situ and are accessible by all visitors who wish to enrich their knowledge about the collections, as well as art lovers, students, teachers and specialist researchers.

It is possible to make an appointment with the Documentation Service outside of public opening times for research or for a specific project linked to the Musée Fabre, its artworks or its artists. Please send your request to the following address :
