Induction Loops

Induction loops are available at several points in the museum. They enable visitors with hearing devices to hear more clearly, in particular at the ticket office, the reception, in the permanent collection rooms and the temporary exhibition gallery.

Signs to find your way

Specific direction signs at key points enable visitors to follow a coherent and chronological trail through the museum rooms and different levels of the permanent collections.

Multimedia options accompany visitors on their trail.

At the museum entrance there are open-access computers to help visitors find out as much as possible about the museum and to design a trail which meets their own desires and then to print it.
There are Interpretation Salons at regular intervals throughout the permanent collections. Visitors can take a break and ask questions about donors, artists, and works which arise after discovering the galleries. Answers can be found on open-access computers or books on open display.

Audio guides

are available to rent from the reception. Visitors with hearing difficulties can use an induction loop, available on request from reception staff. There are several types of visits on offer:  50 artworks for children, 150 works from the permanent trails for adults and 20 texts from famous visitors about their visit to the collections.

Guided visits and workshops

For groups who wish to be accompanied in the exhibition spaces please contact the Public Services before your visit:  contact.museefabre@montpellier3m.fr

Some workshops enable visitors to learn about materials and techniques, giving a deeper understanding of works in the permanent collections.
Discover the programme on the page 'Find out more'.
