Documentary Resources

The Jean Claparède documentation centre sits at the entrance to the museum. It is a rich archive of general and academic documents on Art and the History of Art available for students, teachers and researchers.

The academic archives are focused specifically on documents relating to artists, works and artistic movements held in the Musée Fabre. Dissertations and theses in the History of Art from Paul Valéry University of Montpellier are also available for consultation.

The documentation centre can be opened outside of public opening times, by appointment only, for the consultation of documents, research or academic projects relating to the Musée Fabre. Please send your written request to the following address: museefabre.documentation@montpellier3m.fr
