Because words and images are unseparable, because the painter and the writer are the same virtuoso, Sauramps bookstore and the musée Fabre gather to maintain the bound between Litterature and Painting to the benefit of Culture. The bookstore offers many books and an original selection of exclusive merchandising made from the museum’s collections. Sauramps is opening to all the worlds!

The Alfieri Auditorium
With 120 seats, the Vittorio Alfieri auditorium offers a programmation related to the national and international artistic activity and to events relative to our collections and temporary exhibitions: conferences, debates, courses, music, cinema... It is equipped with magnetic loops for deaf or hearing-impaired people
The auditorium may be rented by societies or associations wishing to offer their clients, personnel or partners an event mixing an instiutional process and an opening towards the world of Fine Arts. It is also used by Sauramps as the place for meetings with writers and authors.

The Association of the Amis du musée Fabre (Friends of the musée Fabre)
Th Association of the Amis du musée Fabre aims to the reputation of the museum and more widely to the promotion of fine arts in their diversity. It plays an active role by being a true partner of the cultural dynamism of Montpellier and its region. It takes part to the enrichment of the collections through donations or participation to the purchases of the museum. Its activities target all the people wishing to consolidate and enhance their knowledge about fine arts. There are visits and conferences upon arts, visits of museums in France and abroad, the magazine La Rencontre, contemporary art exhibitions, visits of painter studios and thte animation of a “Café des arts”. The activities are performed by benevolents, members of the association, coming from various formations.

Jacques and Laurent Pourcel have settled down in the museum under the name Insensé (Crazy). Insensé, for an original place between terrace and patio, completely devoted to pleasure of senses, in a sober decor uniting noble material and design, looking for simplicity, beauty and taste. The Pourcel brothers offer you two ways to eat:
- a restaurant with French cuisine, inspired by their Mediterranean soil, with quality products, a carte and menus, dish of the day, offering the possibility of setting up cocktails and privative meals.
The restaurant is closed on Mondays, open for lunch evry other day and on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays for dinner.
- nomadic food with the Sens menu, including soups, salads, sandwiches and pastries all day long. Open until 9PM on Wednesdays. Closed on Mondays.
